Round Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue proudly serves the Town of Round Hill and surrounding communities in western Loudoun County, Virginia. For generations, our organization has been committed to protecting lives, property, and the wellbeing of our neighbors through emergency response, preparedness, and community service.
We are a volunteer organization, made up of dedicated men and women who serve as firefighters, EMTs, support personnel, and administrative volunteers. Together, we respond to medical emergencies, fires, rescues, and other critical incidents — often at a moment’s notice — while balancing careers, families, and everyday life.
Our service area spans rural roads, historic towns, farms, and the Appalachian Trail, presenting unique challenges that require training, teamwork, and strong partnerships. We work closely with career staff and leadership within Loudoun County Fire and Rescue and neighboring companies to ensure coordinated, professional response when our community needs us most.
Beyond emergency response, we are deeply rooted in the community we serve. From public education and safety outreach to community events and fundraising efforts, we believe strong relationships make a stronger, safer town.
As we look to the future — with new apparatus, facilities, and volunteers — our mission remains the same: neighbors helping neighbors, whenever and wherever help is needed.
Interested in joining us or supporting our mission? We’d love to hear from you.
Our 2026 Board of Directors
The Round Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors that provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for the organization.
Our Board is intentionally made up of a blend of operational leadership and community representation, including civilian members who bring valuable outside perspective. This structure helps ensure both the day-to-day needs of the organization and the long-term interests of the community are thoughtfully considered, while strengthening transparency, accountability, and connection with the residents we serve.
Together, the Board works collaboratively to support our volunteers, steward resources responsibly, and uphold the mission and values of Round Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue — serving our community today while planning responsibly for the future.
