Round Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department (RHVFRD) Apparatus

The RHVFRD is a combined station. This means we not only have a full-time career staff 24 hours a day 7 days a week, but we also have the volunteer side that is staffed at certain days of the week and times of the day.

Career Apparatus

Due to this dual dynamic, as with many other combined stations, the equipment and apparatus is increased two-fold, in some ways. For example, the career staff utilize the apparatus supplied by Loudoun County.

Volunteer Apparatus

However, the volunteers utilize apparatus they purchase and maintain using funds from fundraisers and donations. Although, there are occasions where the county can supply volunteers with funds to purchase equipment when other funding is not available. But generally, they support themselves with the purchase of equipment and apparatus for volunteer use.
