We are excited to share an important update with our community as we take the next step forward in serving Round Hill and the surrounding areas.
Beginning in May 2026, operational activities for fire and rescue services will transition to the new station located at 41 West Loudoun Street, which is owned and operated by Loudoun County Fire and Rescue. Emergency crews will begin responding from this location, helping us continue to meet the needs of our growing community.
As part of this transition, daily operations will no longer be conducted out of our current station at 4 Main Street. This building, which remains owned by our volunteer organization, will continue to be maintained and used to support our volunteer organization, including storage and parking of company vehicles. While it will remain an important part of our volunteer organization, it will no longer be staffed on a 24/7 basis.
While the response location is changing, our commitment to this community remains the same. Our volunteers will continue to serve alongside career personnel, supporting emergency response, community events, and outreach efforts that keep us connected to the people we proudly serve.
We are incredibly proud of the history and memories built at 4 Main Street—it has truly been a home away from home for so many. As we look ahead, we are equally excited about the opportunities this next chapter brings for our members and our community.
Additional details on both stations will be shared as they become available.
As always, in the event of an emergency, please call 911. This remains the fastest and most effective way to receive help.
