Today marks the beginning of a new chapter as crews officially complete the transition and begin the first full operational shift from our new station at 41 W Loudoun Street.
The volunteers will continue to use the building at 4 Main Street for storage and other needs, but all operational activities will be conducted out of the new station.
Effective today, May 14, 2026 the Station at 4 Main Street will no longer be the home of the 24/7 Career staff or be in operational status.
As always in the event of an emergency the FASTEST way to get assistance is to call 911!
This new 20,500 square foot station includes apparatus bays, bunkrooms, a training room, a break room, restrooms and showers, food preparation and dining areas, laundry and decontamination areas, supply storage, a gear and hose drying area, a breathing apparatus air compressor room, a fitness room, repair shop and office space for both the Round Hill Volunteer and Loudoun County fire and rescue operations. The new station also features a 2,500 square foot community room that will be available to the public for meetings and training sessions. Units assigned to the station are Engine 604, Medic 604, Tanker 604, and Brush 604.
An official Grand Opening Ceremony for the Round Hill Fire and Rescue Station will take place this summer, with more details to come. To learn more about this project, visit the Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure project page.
